Rennes / Le Mabilay

Futuristic and titanic architecture for this building created by Louis Arretche, the Mabilay was the Joint Center for Television and Telecommunications Studies (CCETT) which saw the birth, among other things, of the minitel and the smart card. Rehabilitated, the Mabilay now offers an urban setting for French Tech Rennes-Saint-Malo. At nightfall, the Mabilay spotlights come on and illuminate the upper part of the antenna. A luminous choreography based on the rhythm of human breathing, a work imagined by the artist, visual artist Bruno Peinado.
