Chaparron

Sometimes the journey begins unexpectedly, and you don't know where it will lead unless you start it. The journey is sometimes marked by darkness and confusion, but isn't it also the reflection of an inner journey, where even lost and sad, everyone can find their way to a country of lights, colors and 'friendship ? Chaparrón means "Shower" in Spanish, this short and intense rain that comes suddenly and disappears just as quickly. But a “Chaparro” is a small character, like the one in this story. And this foreign word also evokes travel and more or less distant countries. Thus, this story takes up all these meanings: this little man seems to be looking for something, he is sad, but he finds happiness when he reaches a sunny country, as if he had suffered this downpour.
