Divine Maia Chocolates originated from my unforgettable travels through Asia. For me there was the perfect combination of climate, nature, culture and above all delicious food. I loved discovering the local specialties and tasting new flavours.
After traveling for a long time, I kept wondering what I would miss the most. And there was always one thing I couldn't forget: the Japanese Nama chocolates. So tasty, so unique. Full-bodied and when it melts in your mouth it is velvety soft.
I then decided that it was high time to experiment and taste it myself (which was not bad at all!) to be able to experience it at home in the Netherlands.
In the end I perfected my recipe and am very proud of it.
That's why I started Divine Maia Chocolates together with my husband to finally be able to share this with you.
