I'm a dog

Canicas is one of many dogs in the neighborhood, all children of the dog Cascabel. 

He has been adopted by a human family consisting of a dad, a grandmother and a five-year-old boy named Dung-Dung. When the family leaves like every day, Marbles stirs between the four walls, eager to go out for a walk. 

However, he has to wait an eternity for everyone to return. 

Finally little Dung-Dung arrives. 

They both love each other and hope to meet, but... ¿Who will take care of whom? The prolific Korean artist Heena Baek, winner of the 2020 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Prize, never stops captivating us with her settings and characters, all made of different materials, then photographed and colored until she achieves that 3D effect that is rare in children's books and that makes it unique. Its typography is round and simple, easy to read. 

An original album that, from the perspective of this adorable dog, talks about the adoption of the pet, its relationship with the smallest, some limits that must be respected at home and empathy with the most vulnerable.
