Collected in the Mediterranean Sea, sea sponges become entangled in fishermen's nets during fishing. Instead of throwing them away, the Mazara-based company Sea Sponge works on them to give them new life. Ideal for cleansing the little ones; as a blender for the application of foundation, powder and concealer; for removing eye make-up instead of disposable pads. Compact and resistant, during facial cleansing they gently exfoliate the skin, removing dead cells and giving brightness and vigor to the skin. They also provide a pleasant massage, stimulating circulation. Compared to synthetic sponges, natural sponges are more durable, resistant and eco-sustainable. At the end of their life they must be thrown away as they are biodegradable.
