Pasta - Fregula Grossa Classica Toasted 500g - Typical product of Sardinia

Fregula, available in various sizes, was produced by "rolling" the semolina mixture into a large earthenware basin and toasted in the oven. It comes in the form of irregular balls with a diameter varying between 2 and 6 millimetres. The perfect cooking is creaming with fish sauces or other full-bodied sauces. In Sardinia one of the typical dishes is Fregula Grossa Tostata with clams and clams.       The particular oven roasting of part of the Fregula and the slow drying, together with the sole presence of semolina of Sardinian origin make it the emblem of our land!
