CORSICAN KNIFE

A knife specially created for the Malle w.   Clothing.   Unique piece of character, like the Corsica where it comes from.   Jean-Pierre Ceccaldi, a craftsman close to wild nature, makes his knives with handles inspired by the curve of goat horns.   You will particularly appreciate it for its effective cutting edge and for its bluish blade whose appearance changes over time.   For lovers of sausages, pâtés and other cheeses...   It is also very useful for cutting squash and other pumpkins.   Interview “A steel that will, over time, oxidize and take on a gray patina.   It has the advantage of being very easy to sharpen, an important quality when choosing an everyday knife.   Please note: the maintenance of these steels is more extensive than stainless steel.   It is necessary to clean the blade after using it; it can be run under water but must be dried immediately afterwards and stored away from humidity.   If used infrequently, be sure to oil the blade before storing the knife in a dry place.   The walnut wood used by Ceccaldi is dry and healthy, it has a brown color with dark brown to black veining, of medium density, it will develop a patina over time.   To maintain walnut wood, it is imperative not to immerse the handle in water.   You will also need to oil this handle, once or twice a year, with camelia or olive oil for example."
