The history of the Montigiani Agricultural Company is a young and fascinating tale. The town of Reggello, in the heart of Tuscany, is a town in the province of Florence that extends from the bottom of the Arno valley to the mountainous ridge of Pratomagno. It is precisely in this frame that a child named Alberto, born in the early 90s, immediately absorbs the passion and family tradition for the olive tree.

I felt at home, so much so that the oil mill became my first refuge when it happened to "skip" school. Between the various moments, I remember when with my uncle we saw the "first oil" come out of the barrel and punctually, after the first taste, we said that the new one was better than last year, the memory of which had now faded. In order not to recall the thoughts and mirages that jumped into my mind every time I saw an agricultural machinery from some of the large local oil companies based in Reggello pass through the town. "

The Montigiani Agricultural Company was born from these emotions, of which I am the main guardian.

"In 2016, exactly 5 years ago, after some experiences abroad and an increasingly less remote desire to get closer to my person and to enhance my territory, I decide to return to my home in Pietrapiana, a town in Reggello to focus on me itself and on olive growing. "

With the management of the first plots, the fruits of the work are also harvested, when the first two Delicato and Deciso selections end up on the tables of friends, relatives and first customers. In 2018 in vogue with growing numbers and contagious enthusiasm, the Organic, a new selection, comes to life. A diversified offer that is further expanded with my flagship, the Diamond selection. It provides for a limited number of bottles of superior extra virgin olive oil, possible only thanks to a maniacal selection of plants and olives and a particular process.

The latest news dates back to 2020, when in the pandemic era, always dictated by the needs and requirements of customers, I decide to generate a selection that is more versatile to taste and to the culinary art in general. The other me takes the name of Alter Ego.

Moved by a continuous propensity for innovation, I decide to penetrate the spirits market with Gin EXTRAVIRGIN, a London Dry with olive oil with unique characteristics in the world.
In parallel with this latest great news, the farm is in the conversion phase to become an organic farm.
