Kiss from a Roast

Ratnagiri means Pearl Mountain, and it sits at the top of a mountain range in the Western Ghats region of India. The estate is to all intents and purposes an organic/biodynamic farm, and also has official Rainforest Alliance certification. This is chocolate-forward coffee, but there’s plenty more going on. You may well get hints of hazelnut & brown sugar, but plenty of toffee and cocoa, and even some green apple and raspberry flavours. It lends itself to espresso, mokapot, AeroPress and cafetière, but it’s jolly pleasant in filter & pourer brewers too!
