 The lampshade is available in three different sizes and is delivered without bulbs and cables.   These are available in your preferred color and length at any hardware store. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Mass weight (Diameter x Height (without fringes)) S: 30x31cm; 1.00kg M: 40x49cm; 1.38kg L: 50x55cm; 1.60kg Our products are artfully crafted unique pieces.   Due to hand manufacturing and natural variations in materials, they may vary slightly in size, color and shape. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Main material: Raffia Our lampshades are made from plant fibers.   They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.    Raffia (Corypha utan) occurs naturally in the steppe and forest areas of Southeast Asia.   The plant renews its leaves about every two years and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by people, dried in the sun for a few days to weeks, depending on the desired degree of browning, and processed into woven goods.   The relative rarity and the higher processing effort make this material slightly more expensive compared to other plant fibers.   While it is hardly known here in Europe, the material has proven itself among the local population in Southeast Asia in the form of all sorts of everyday objects and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft, yet robust texture.    Other material: metal frame, banana fiber -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Place of production: This lampshade is handmade in Java, Indonesia.   When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions.   Only adult and experienced artisans work in the companies from which we purchase our goods.   No harmful chemicals are used during production.   Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process hardly produces any greenhouse gas emissions.   We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
