The mirror reflector returns the captured solar radiation by directing it inside the box onto a black absorber so that it is converted into heat. This heat kept by a window, rises gradually. During this rise in temperature, a natural hot air current system coupled with an electric ventilation system (powered by a solar panel) evacuates the humidity of the foods placed on the grids in order to dehydrate them.
