South Garden Matcha Green Tea in fine powder is a premium organic product from Japan. With extraordinary properties such as its vitamin and polyphenolic profile, being a very privileged organoleptically product that stands out from other varieties of green tea. South Garden's organic Matcha tea is from Kagoshima, located in southern Japan, it has a tropical climate that is ideal for growing tea. The constant amount of warm weather and rain is the perfect combination for a fresh smell and rich flavors. In addition, the nutrient-rich agricultural landscape of the volcano's active mineral deposits provide nourishment that ensures our tea thrives with all the nutrients and health benefits. Green tea plants are covered to avoid direct sunlight (shade stimulates an increase in chlorophyll and the production of amino acids in the leaves, especially l-theanine). At harvest, the stems and thick parts are removed and the leaves are ground into a dark green powder known as Matcha (the whole leaf is consumed). There are three quality grades of Matcha green tea, South Garden belongs to the top grade, so you can use it as premium matcha tea.
