Sphere Bowl S Aurora

Sphere objects are mouth-blown at over 1000 °C and shaped by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic. Blown from a full glass sphere, this collection of mouth-blown pieces uses the traditional technique of double-walled glass making. The bowl is handmade by heating half of the sphere and inhaling its air. Combined with a cylindrical base, the bowl seems to float weightlessly above the ground. Designed by Milena Kling, each object in the Sphere family consists of two parts that interact with each other in a finely tuned selection of shades.
