Felt Butterfly Brooch

Our felt butterfly brooches are hand made from merino wool and colourful beading, adding something special to any outfit. A great gift to add a pop of colour to any outfit or simply remind us of the beauty of butterflies. As each brooch is hand made from felt it means that each one is unique and will come with its own set of colour combinations. We give our artisans a free rein to decide on the colours. You may not be able to choose the exact colours, but you can rest assured that we will send you something that you will love. If you order multiple brooches, you will receive a variety of colours. All of our felt products are handmade by skilled artisans in Nepal, who work with women’s cooperatives to design and create these beautiful and unique pieces. Approximately 8 x 6 cm. Each brooch comes with a C clasp pin which is sharp and therefore not suitable for children. All of our colourful felt products are handmade by one of the leading and most inspiring felt producers in Nepal. A Fair Trade company, they provide training and work for women within some of the poorest communities in Nepal. To date, the company has empowered more than 100 women. It is truly a community in itself, where they sing and dance whilst creating beautiful designs. Committed to being as green as possible, they use raw materials and natural dyes, as well as solar energy to help run their operations.
