Spanish Heather Honey (Spain)

Harvested from the wild Spanish heather moorlands of the Pyrenees. The taste: This honey has a distinct depth of taste. Almost like molasses, strong in flavour dark and thick. This is from bees pollinating bell heather (unlike our Scottish heather from ling heather). Fantastic when used as a healthy alternative to refined sugar in baking or simply drizzled over your breakfast. This honey isn’t always available due to the climatic conditions on the moorlands.
