Limoncello 50CL

Limoncello from the Uckermark In the beginning there were a few lemon trees in the Uckermark that gave us enough Amalfi lemons to produce a small batch of our wonderful UCKA Limoncello. The recipe comes from a real Capresen, a resident of the island of Capri. At first it was an experiment that received so much popularity that we added it to our range. Only the lemon peel is soaked in alcohol and after just a few weeks, an intense lemon scent wafts around our noses when we open the container. Shake briefly before drinking so that the essential oils recombine with the alcohol. We store it in the freezer and drink it either neat or mixed with a little tonic water as a spritz. In a wine glass, add 5cl limoncello, 1-2 ice cubes and fill 2/3 full with tonic, add a sprig of rosemary. Cheers!    Psst!
