Yuka Rating: 100/100 🟢🌿 Our Organic Grand Cru Roasted Maté has undergone a low-temperature roasting process to give it a very aromatic flavor that is very different from traditional matés. This roasted mate can be enjoyed at the end of a meal, where it is a wonderful replacement for the endless black coffee. Intense, chocolatey and powerful, this mate will express all its infused flavors at a temperature between 80-85°C for 3 to 5 minutes. Cultivated in agroforestry, this method allows the plant to draw its nutrients from the rich and diversified biodiversity of southern Brazil. From the terroir of São Mateus do Sul, in the south of Paraná, this maté is a great vintage due to its terroir and the greater shade provided by the imposing Araucarias. The growth of the leaves being slower, the flavors of the yerba mate will be more concentrated, to acquire a richer, fruitier and more complex taste.
