Sparkling Gutturnio La Ciocca

Gutturnio, a typical wine of the Piacenza tradition, in the sparkling version with D.O.C Colli Piacentini certification. GRAPES – Gutturnio sparkling La Ciocca is made up of 60% Barbera and 40% Bonarda, locally known as Croatina. The two vines have very ancient history and roots and give soft and long-lived wines with very complex olfactory sensations. VINIFICATION – Gutturnio Frizzante La Ciocca is fermented in stainless steel tanks, both with indigenous yeasts and with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature. Aging in stainless steel for 3 months and subsequent aging in the bottle for 2 months; slight froth. DESCRIPTION – Gutturnio Sparkling has a dark ruby red color with purplish hues, the chrome plating is intact and the fruit of the grapes is consistent. The taste is dry, pleasant and fruity with notes of cherry and marasca cherry, fresh, savory, excellent fizz. Excellent in combination with first courses and grilled meats.
