VEGA AIXALÀ - Garnatxa Cab.-Sauvignon - Natural wine - Red wine - Spain

The vineyards of the Vega Aixalà winery are 100% natural and are located at almost 900 m above sea level on the steep slopes of Monte Montsant in a beautiful landscape surrounded by Serra la Llena and Serra de Prades. 

Since the slopes are steep, the Vega family opted for terraced cultivation. 

The slate soil throughout is strongly reminiscent of the vineyards of the more famous Priorat. 

The climate is continental and has large temperature differences between day and night. 

2019 Garnatxa Cabernet Sauvignon from Vega Aixalà consists of 50% Garnatxa and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks and matured for 9 months in an amphora and old barrels, it develops an absolute finesse with a lot of race and depth. 

Slightly chilled (14-16 °C), it is perfect for the grilling season, pasta with meat, chocolate and snacks.   Unfiltered, without added sulfites.   Drinking temperature: 14-16°C store at 12-14°C Bottles don't have a sticker from US on them!
