Dehydrated Lozère porcini mushrooms 30g

Here in Haute Loire, we border this wonderful department of Lozère. A wild and wooded department, which is full of delicious products.  The porcini mushroom is one of them.,and here everyone picks it, eats it in good pans garnished with parsley. .But local people also do it dried; they know that these mushrooms concentrate all their flavors when dehydrated. This is why it is not uncommon to find. large garlands of slices of porcini mushrooms drying, in garages, in verandas, kitchens.  The powerful smell invades your nostrils when you enter its improvised dryers.  All these fabulous autumn scents transport you to the heart of the forest. The most energetic collectors make a few kg of it which they will soon sell at the local mushroom fairs, of which the Chaise Dieu fair and the St Bonnet le Froid mushroom fair are the best known. The lots are then negotiated out of sight, in the trunk of the car.  We weigh, we test for humidity, we estimate the color by the light of a flashlight.  And it is only after tough negotiations that the bags and tickets can then change hands.
