Caserecce Senatore Cappelli

Caserecce are a smooth pasta shape rolled up on itself like a small parchment, curved towards the tip.
It is a type of pasta originating from Sicily, but also characteristic of other regions of Central-Southern Italy.
Caserecce (or Casarecce) are suitable for the classic ragù, although the smooth and delicately porous surface is perfect for any sauce, even the simplest ones.
The "Senatore Cappelli" wheat, used in purity (100%), is called "the father of modern wheat".
Born in 1915 in Foggia.
Known for his height (approximately 150-160 cm).
Approximately 90% of the new varieties of durum wheat derive from genetic modifications of Senatore Cappelli.
Famous for its aromas and high digestibility.
CASA PRENCIPE High Purity Pasta is bronze drawn, dried at low temperatures, and is produced only with organic wheat from a short supply chain.
