 It is a typical product of southern Italy. 
In some areas they are called "fricelli", or "Apulian fusilli".
 The "Senatore Cappelli" wheat, used in purity (100%), is called "the father of modern wheat". 
Born in 1915 in Foggia. 
Known for his height (approximately 150-160 cm). 
Approximately 90% of the new varieties of durum wheat derive from genetic modifications of Senatore Cappelli. 
Famous for its aromas and high digestibility.
